Versatile313 is a Detroit native recording artist and entertainer. From his love and expertise in genres Hip Hop, R&B and Pop, Vers has been mainly influenced by artists such as Usher, Chris Brown, Neyo, Big Sean, Kendrick Lamar Royce da 5”9 and J Cole—a few of which may undoubtedly be heard in his music!

Throughout the span of his 10 year career and counting, Versatile has secured opportunities performing as part of the Kanye West Sunday Service, winning Soul Award in the Motown Amplify Singing Competition, and performing as a Core Member on Hot 107.5’s Friday Night Cypher! Ess B, a rising voice in contemporary R&B and Afro-Pop, is quickly becoming a name to watch.

Born in Scarborough, Canada, the singer-songwriter spent much of his early childhood in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines after the passing of his mother, Samantha Browne, at just three years old. Raised by his grandparents, uncles, and aunts, those formative years left an imprint on his artistry and cultural expression. Ess B eventually returned to Toronto, where he has lived for the past two years, actively pursuing musical opportunities. Booster was born on Detroit’s East Side on August 25, 1990. With music running through his blood from his mother, Booster was exposed to the art form at an early age. By age six, he began playing melodies he heard, guided by his mother, and soon started teaching himself.

His musical development skyrocketed after attending the Detroit School of the Arts, where he honed his craft. He competed in statewide competitions, earning multiple blue and red ribbons for classical solo/ensemble performances and jazz orchestra.
